Organizing your Holiday decorations

The jack-o-lanterns and giant scary spider are done for the year..so where do you store them?

Plastic bins can be purchased for a few dollars in fall colors.  If you decorate for Halloween but have some fall items that you leave up all season; you should have two bins.  Label the bins "Fall" & "Halloween". 

Write the contents of the box on an index card and tape it to the front of the bin with packaging tape.

As you put away the decorations from each season - purchase more bins and weed out what decorations you don't use anymore.  Label each box and list the contents.

Standard size wreaths can be stored in wreath boxes.  (They are sold in both cardboard and plastic) Larger decorations can be hung on a storage area wall.  A large shelf bracket hung upside-down will hold several wreaths.

You will amazed at how much easier and enjoyable it is to decorate your home!
